The sixth book of the Small Series is dedicated to the history of the last decades of the Russian-Horde Empire: from the last Russian-Horde tsars Fyodor Ivanovich and Boris Fedorovich to the Great Troubles and the first Romanovs. It is shown by what means the Romanovs achieved power. Much space in the book is devoted to the story of how the Romanovs, having come to power, began to falsify old Russian history. In the last sections of the book, the question of the authenticity of ancient Russian grand ducal charters and pre-Romanov royal burials in the Kremlin is discussed in detail. Although today all this is considered supposedly genuine, most likely these are fakes made during the era of the first Romanovs in the 17th century.
