This publication is published in a new edition made by A.T. Fomenko. It is noticeably different from the previous ones. For the first time, a complete decoding of the famous Egyptian zodiacs, which record the dates of the ancient history of Egypt, has been obtained. Many researchers of the 19th and 20th centuries tried to decipher and date the zodiacs. However, the decryptions they proposed were partial and did not allow us to unambiguously restore the dates of the zodiacs. Now, with the creation of a new method and with the help of computer analysis, for the first time it has been possible to definitively establish a number of precise astronomical milestones in Egyptian history. It turned out that the Egyptian zodiacs were created no earlier than the 11th century. The vast majority of the book will not require the reader to have special knowledge in mathematics beyond the scope of the first two years of a higher technical educational institution. The constellations on the Egyptian zodiacs are very similar to the drawings of the same constellations in ancient European works on astronomy. All zodiac constellations in the “ancient” Egyptian version are usually recognized without difficulty. However, the Egyptian zodiacs have some features of the constellation figures that are not found in European drawings. These features, discovered by A.T. Fomenko and G.V. Nosovsky, apparently, had not been noticed before. Meanwhile, they are important for deciphering the zodiacs. It turns out that the constellations in the Egyptian zodiacs were sometimes combined with the symbols of the planets, forming a more complex symbol - the “astronomical hieroglyph”. We will say more about them below. Here we will focus for now only on the symbols of the constellations as such.
