Acquiring the ability to protect yourself and your loved ones has always been and will be the primary aspiration of a person (especially a man). Therefore, martial arts are the most biologically and socially significant types of physical activity. By practicing them, you can quickly and quite easily receive a qualification degree in the form of a belt of any color or even a master's dan, but real combat training can only be obtained by completing it with some kind of martial arts. Not all people can immediately start practicing martial arts due to their physical condition or psychological characteristics. In this regard, the Judo system is of particular value as the most “gradual”, engaging type of physical and mental activity (namely, like the system of physical education and the system of military-applied physical training). This quality of Judo provides its teacher with constant “engagement”. Naturally, for this he must have a perfect command of judo technique and tactics, pedagogical teaching skills and organizational abilities. The textbook is intended for use in Youth Sports School, Sports School for Youth and Sports School, ShVSM, Olympic Reserve Schools, and Physical Education Technical Schools. New approaches in the field of interpretation of wrestling techniques and tactics, periodization of training loads, in the field of ensuring mass participation and maintaining the contingent of students allow its use in the educational process of physical education institutes.
