Laertes Dobrovolsky (born in April 1941 in Leningrad) spent the entire period of the blockade in the besieged city. He served in the Northern Fleet. Participant in atomic weapons tests on the island. Novaya Zemlya (1961–1962) Graduated from the Forestry Academy (Leningrad, 1969) Author of seven collections of poetry, participant in a number of literary, philosophical, local history collections and almanacs. Member of the Russian Writers' Union. Lives and works in St. Petersburg. This book includes poems from different years.
