“Wet Bockley” is a book of poems by Laertes Dobrovolsky for children. The lyrical heroes of the book are inquisitive and mischievous, hardworking and not so boys and girls, for whom these stories were written. The book and exhibits of the zoological museum are inhabited by inhabitants of the aquarium, barefoot insects unknown to science, and four-legged watchmen faithful to their duty. Everything that is described in the book actually happened. It's time to talk about the fate of the unlucky Englishman, who was wet to the marrow due to a faulty umbrella, about the true reasons for the enmity between wolves and hares, and much more. And, of course, another hero, or rather, the heroine of many stories. Nature, which can be observed and studied endlessly and which needs our protection. The characters in this book were loved by many young readers, who created a large number of drawings for the texts of the poems and memorized the poems they especially liked. A Word-Book-Drawing chain has formed, which becomes stronger with each meeting of children with the author of the book.
