“Uninvented Stories” is a book of poems by Laertes Dobrovolsky for children. The lyrical heroes of the book are inquisitive and mischievous, hardworking and not very boys and girls, for whom these stories were written. The book and exhibits of the zoological museum are inhabited by inhabitants of the aquarium, barefoot insects unknown to science, and four-legged watchmen faithful to their duty. Everything that is described in the book actually happened. It's time to talk about the fate of the unlucky Englishman, who was wet to the marrow due to a faulty umbrella, about the true reasons for the enmity between wolves and hares, and much more. And, of course, another hero, or rather the heroine of many stories. Nature, which can be observed and studied endlessly and which needs our protection.
