Marriage, love and family - these topics worried people in the 14th–15th centuries. no less than our contemporaries. However, in their meaning these worries and experiences were completely different. Which ones? This question can be answered by referring to the original French texts of the 14th–15th centuries, collected in this edition and translated into Russian for the first time. The reader will find in these texts the entire range of assessments and judgments encountered at that time - from sharply satirical ridicule of marriage and family to enthusiastic celebration of love between a man and a woman.
