The manual is devoted to the basics of the theory and methodology of children's and youth judo. The main provisions of the theory of building sports training and the methodological basis for organizing the sports activities of judoists aged 10–16 are revealed. Modern approaches to a comprehensive assessment of the physical fitness of judokas are presented. Based on a study of the personal and characterological characteristics of judokas, recommendations for optimizing their educational and training activities are proposed.
