The book by the Russian philosopher, author of the books “Winnie the Pooh and the Philosophy of Ordinary Language”, “Morphology of Reality”, “Dictionary of 20th Century Culture: Key Concepts and Texts”, is devoted to an interdisciplinary study of how the real in our lives relates to the imaginary. The author analyzes here such concepts as text, plot, reality, realism, trauma, psychosis, schizophrenia. It is difficult to say in what specialty this book was written: it touches on such areas as analytical philosophy, logical semantics, psychoanalysis, clinical characterology and psychiatry, structural poetics, theoretical linguistics, semiotics, and the theory of speech acts.
