The last years of V.I. Lenin’s life have always attracted historians and publicists. It was during this period that Lenin wrote his articles, which are considered his political testament. They contain many fragments that still cause controversy and discrepancies to this day. However, contrary to the malicious speculation of some pseudo-researchers, the author of the book R.K. Balandin convincingly proves that V.I. Lenin, despite his enormous employment and deteriorating health, was able in his will to outline the most important problems that faced the young Soviet state, and outline measures to overcome them. The book shows to what extent the events that followed Lenin's death were predicted or directly dictated by him and in what way Stalin became the successor of Lenin's work.
