The chronology and history of antiquity accepted today, created in the 16th–17th centuries, apparently contains serious errors. This was understood and discussed by many outstanding scientists of the 17th–20th centuries. However, reconstructing the true chronology and history of antiquity has proven to be a difficult task. But a group of mathematicians from Moscow State University coped with it perfectly. As a result of the work, interesting results were obtained, published both in scientific periodicals and in the form of separate monographs. This book introduces the developed new, significantly shorter chronology, based on the analysis of historical sources using the methods of mathematics, statistics and extensive computer calculations.

Вражаюче дослідження хронології та історії!
Книга "Яке зараз століття?" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі історичних досліджень. Автори, група математиків із МДУ, зуміли поєднати науку та історію, пропонуючи новий погляд на хронологію, яка, як виявляється, має серйозні прогалини та помилки, закладені ще в XVI–XVII століттях. Я був вражений, як автори використали методи математики, статистики та комп'ютерних розрахунків для реконструкції справжньої хронології давнини. Це не лише наукова праця, але й захоплююча історія про те, як важливо ставити під сумнів усталені погляди та шукати істину. Книга написана доступною мовою, що робить її зрозумілою навіть для тих, хто не є фахівцем у цій галузі. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією, наукою та бажає дізнатися більше про те, як ми сприймаємо час і події минулого!
