“This is neither a version, nor a variation, nor a continuation of Chekhov’s famous play, but only an ironic allusion to The Three Sisters. This is a close examination of several depressive steps that the world has taken since the time when Chekhov looked closely at it,” this is how Janusz Glowacki explained the idea of his work. According to the writer, this grotesque play is about the whole world, although the action takes place in Russia, and The heroines of the work no longer live in the provinces, but in Moscow and are now striving for distant New York. “In it, I tried to write about tragic and sad things as funny as I could, in order to draw the audience into the trap when they first start laughing and then think about it,” noted J. Glowacki.
