The purpose of this work is to summarize the information accumulated in various fields of knowledge on issues related to pull-ups on the bar. Based on known knowledge in the field of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, biomechanics, theory and methods of physical culture, as well as taking into account the practical experience of coaches and polyathletes, the author has made an attempt to present disparate information on pull-ups in a form convenient for study.
