The famous Egyptologist Wallis Budge compiled his guidebook for the famous travel agency Thomas Cook and Sons. Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Уолліс Бадж, будучи відомим єгиптологом, вдало поєднав глибокі знання про історію та культуру Єгипту з живими описами пам'яток архітектури. Я був вражений, як автор зумів передати атмосферу давнього Єгипту, описуючи не лише величні піраміди та храми, але й повсякденне життя єгиптян.
