Zbigniew Brzezinski (1928–2017) was an American political scientist, sociologist, and statesman of Polish origin. He was the director of the Trilateral Commission, which many researchers consider the "think tank" of world politics. For a long time, Brzezinski was the leading ideologist of US foreign policy. The book “The Game Plan” was written at the peak of the confrontation between the USA and the USSR. From Brzezinski's point of view, the US-Soviet rivalry is “not just a struggle between two countries. This is a struggle of empires." He analyzes in detail the nature and causes of “Russian territorial expansion”, tries to compare the “two empires” and defines the “Great Russian imperial consciousness”. The author concludes his book with a call to “surpass the USSR historically,” including in this concept “the weakening of the foreign policy imperial impulse” and even “the collapse of the Soviet empire.” As the author stated, this book “is a practical guide to action.” The measures that were outlined in it were later implemented and continue to be implemented in relation to Russia. The publishing layout is saved in a4.pdf format.
