A terrible scandal occurred - the editor who published them went on trial for insulting morality and met a mysterious and undeservedly cruel death. But the mask turned out to be tenacious: at the trial, a man who should not have been there stood up and declared that Bob McCorkle was him. Poetry has indeed come to life - to take revenge on its creator.
