Alexander Stesin is a poet, novelist, traveler and oncologist, author of the books “Come Back and Take It,” “Dinner for the Fire” and “The Way of Tea.” His new book is a story about working in hospitals throughout New York City. A city where many cultures coexist and medical experiences, sometimes extreme, are all reasons to think about how different people are brought here by fate and how arbitrary this difference becomes in the face of adversity and the desire to help each other.
