After the battle in the Yellow Sea, the damaged squadron battleship Tsesarevich broke through to Qingdao, where it was interned. At the end of the war he returned to the Baltic. According to the classification of 1907, like other pre-dreadnoughts, it became known as a battleship. In December 1908, it participated in providing assistance to the population of the city of Messina on the island of Sicily, which suffered from a catastrophic earthquake. In 1910-1911, it underwent a major overhaul at the Baltic Shipyard in St. Petersburg. He met the First World War as part of the Baltic Fleet. Since 1916, it was part of the Gulf of Riga defense forces. After the February Revolution, it was renamed “Citizen”. He took part in the Battle of Moonsund in October 1917. In January 1918 he moved from Helsingfors to Kronstadt. Since May 1918 it was in the Kronstadt port for long-term storage. In 1924, it was handed over for dismantling and excluded from the fleet on November 21, 1925.
