In the middle of the last century, a new movement was born in the Soviet Union, called methodology. This movement first manifested itself in the form of the Moscow Logical Circle (MLC) under the leadership of A.A. Zinoviev. Later, G.P. Shchedrovitsky took over the leadership of the movement, and the movement itself became known as the Moscow Methodological Circle (MMK). Among the members of the MMK were such famous personalities as M.K. Mamardashvili, B.A. Grushin, V.A. Lefevre, N.G. Alekseev, O.I. Genisaretsky, Yu.V. Gromyko, V.M. Rozin and others. It is customary to divide the history of MMK into two stages: “seminar” (until 1979) and “game”, which began after it was held in 1979 under the leadership of G.P. Shchedrovitsky. the first Organizational-activity game (OD-game). The book is dedicated to revealing the role of methodology as a powerful analytical service for strategic management. The logic of the need for methodological support for management and scientific research is considered, and two types of methodological expertise are introduced.
