The collection is the first to attempt to give a holistic picture of the work of one of the founders of the Russian and American sociological schools - Pitirim Aleksandrovich Sorokin (1889–1968). The publication includes works on cultural studies, socio-political, sociological and philosophical issues written in Russia, as well as translations of the most famous works reflecting almost half a century of his research in the USA.
