This book, despite its small size, is a multi-faceted, yet poignant and relevant study of age. The authors begin their discussion with the problems of old age, which in itself is unusual (but fits into the logic of this unusual book), and each subsequent topic reveals new aspects of time. Age is understood as the highest, human form of time organization, which allows us to reveal some of the secrets of temporality, shedding light on the mystery of time in general. In this sense, the title “Being and Age” is fully justified. The book is written based on lectures and seminars given jointly - this gives it a lively and polemical character while maintaining a high level of thoughtfulness and thoroughness. The work is of interest both to the academic community and to a wide range of those who are really interested in philosophy.
