"Nazarin" is a novel by the outstanding Spanish writer Benito Perez Galdos, which was published in 1895. This is a story about a protestant who decided to give up material possessions and devote his life to love for people and indifference to worldly goods. The main character, priest Nazarin, idealistic and principled, constantly gets into arguments with the world around him, but remains faithful to his beliefs.
