1957. In the village of Faja in County Clare, where nothing has changed for a thousand years, change is coming. First, the rain stopped. No one remembers when it started: perpetual rain on the west coast of Ireland is the norm. But then the local priest Father Coffey heralds the arrival of electricity, and the clouds seem to disperse. Seventeen-year-old Noel Crowe is spending the summer in Faja with his grandparents, and then, along with the harbingers of the future - electricians - the mysterious Christy appears and brings with him a huge universe of past and secrets to be revealed, as well as a lot of live Irish music.

Nill Williams owns the technique of holographic writing, when the whole cosmos fits into a grain of sand and is expressed by the same grain of sand. In every phrase of the novel, there is a macrocosm of the Irish village, which is the universe, where electric wires are about to stretch. “Here it is, happiness” is a funny, observant, sometimes funny and always touching homage to serenity, which you can try to create anew. This is a novel about growing up - and individuals, and time itself as such. And, of course, this is a novel about the strength and power of human stories.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
