The period 1928-1940 is the focus of the last volume of the author's trilogy on the Mexican Revolution of the 20th century. Mexico, like the USSR, is making a breakthrough towards a sharp acceleration of the country's economic development and the creation of its own industrial base. The same thing happened at that time in the Soviet Union. Both in Mexico and in the USSR, stakes were placed on the radicalization of the revolutionary process: on agrarian reform and the creation of a powerful national industry. The government of Mexican President Lazaro Cardenas carried out profound reforms under the slogan of fulfilling the promises of the revolution and taking into account the experience of Soviet transformations. That is why the study of this period of Mexican history - the peak of the revolution - is of undoubted interest to the Russian reader.
