In 1862 parisian publisher of Ж. Этцель produced edition of fairy-tales Perro with illustrations of Гюстава to Dora. Then he appealed to Тургеневу with suggestion to translate the fairy-tales of Perro into the Russian language and write to them the preface turned to the Russian readers. Book undertook to publish the Petersburg bookseller М. О. Вольф. I "hurry to report to you, - wrote on July, 9 (21) 1862 Тургенев Ж. Этцелю, - that with the utmost pleasure I accept your suggestion: to translate Perro is a really fluke, and you can notify Вольфа, that I take" up it.
