Роман «Місто в долині» вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною насиченістю. Протягом 16 років автор створював цю історію, і це відчувається в кожному рядку. Книга зображує не лише історію країни, але й внутрішній світ людини, яка відчуває самотність та незрозумілість. Головний герой, обдарований, але нездатний реалізувати свій потенціал, викликає співчуття та роздуми про сенс життя. Епіграф Леона Блуа, що супроводжує роман, підкреслює філософську глибину твору, змушуючи читача замислитися про своє місце у світі. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, можливо, заважають повністю зануритися в текст, загальна атмосфера та ідеї книги залишають сильне враження. Рекомендую цей роман всім, хто цінує літературу, що торкається складних питань людського існування.
