A scientist who is constantly inclined to play, a translator who carefully and recklessly violates the boundaries of linguistic registers, a poet who is constantly changing and does not want to stop in her transformations, Elena Mikhailik shows the reader a world full of strange, scary and disturbing things. Ph.D. Poems and articles were published in the anthology “Unbound Ulysses”, magazines “Arion”, “Air”, “Children of Ra”, “New World”, “New Literary Review”. Andrei Bely Prize in the Humanitarian Research category (2019) for a monograph dedicated to the work of Varlam Shalamov.
