The first volume of the work of the outstanding French philosopher and socialist economist Pierre-Joseph Proudhon includes eight chapters of reflections on the essence of the contradictions between labor and capital. Proudhon’s work, published in 1846, was sharply criticized and at the same time served as an impetus for the writing of both the “Manifesto of the Communist Party”, jointly compiled by K. Marx and F. Engels, and “Capital” by K. Marx. For the first time in Russian.
