Книга "Королі-чудотворці" М. Блоку є справжнім шедевром, що поєднує в собі історичний аналіз та соціологічні дослідження. Автор глибоко занурюється в уявлення про надприродний характер королівської влади, що існували у Франції та Англії, і показує, як ці вірування впливали на відносини між монархами та їх підданими. Особливо вражає, як Блок розкриває питання походження монархічної влади та еволюцію умонастроїв народу. Книга не лише інформативна, але й провокує на роздуми про те, як вірування формуються і змінюються в суспільстві. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки у перекладі, загальна якість тексту вражає, і я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією, соціологією та культурними традиціями.
