This problem may seem private, but at the same time Blok gives answers to fundamental questions: what is the origin of monarchical power and what feelings connect the monarch with his subjects; how beliefs common in large human communities are born and die; what is the mentality of the people and how it evolves. “The Miracle-Working Kings” is one of those books thanks to which the “New Historical Science” was born in France, which revolutionized the humanities of the 20th century.
