At the court of Oleg the Prophet, a wonderful miracle appeared - a giantess from the Ugric mountains, a daring clearing. Once upon a time, Gorynya was an ordinary girl, but only her enormous height did not allow her to live like everyone else: her relatives considered her a foundling, her suitors laughed at her. It was not of her own free will that Gorynya left her home and set out on a journey to seek happiness for herself. As if in a fairy tale, she finds herself either in a witch’s hut in the middle of a dark forest, or in the lair of her forest twin “wolves,” or in the city of Kiev. The presentation of the image of the Prophetic Oleg in the novel is unusual: the wise prince appears here as a successful but tired man, a father, concerned about the future of his children, especially his beloved but crafty youngest daughter, Brynhild-Stoislava. At her request, Oleg hires the hero Gorynya to serve, not realizing that she did not appear here by chance. Gorynya brought Brynhild long-awaited news from distant lands and must help her find her love. Passion, revenge, ambition, courage and enchantment will come together in battle on the magical Yaril night, and by dawn someone will find happiness, and someone will lose everything...< /p>
