After all, the roads are tangled with trolls, the merciless king-robber Bergwid Blackskin is guarding his prey on the seashore, and it is unknown what evil magic the deep thickets conceal. But it is there, as the saga says, that the beautiful Valkyrie sleeps, waiting for her groom. Enchanted by the ancient legend, the brave Viking Jarl Helgi goes on a campaign and unexpectedly finds an ally in the Copper Forest in the person of the local ruler Vigmar the Fox. And with him a new enemy - after all, Bergwid, intoxicated by hatred and black witchcraft, is already gathering strength to challenge both Vigmar and the whole world.
