In post-war Pskov, two similar robberies occur one after another. In both cases, criminals steal paintings by the famous artist Shapiro, who emigrated from the USSR in the 1920s. The investigation was entrusted to the head of the operational department, Pavel Zverev. Detectives are able to establish that the victims of both robberies once worked together in the neurological department of the same hospital, and the future artist Shapiro was their patient. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи історії, мистецтва та криміналістики, створюючи захоплюючий сюжет, який не відпускає читача до самого кінця. Повоєнний Псков, таємничі пограбування картин, загадкові персонажі - все це створює неповторну атмосферу, в якій кожен новий поворот сюжету стає все більш інтригуючим. Особливо сподобалося, як розкриваються характери головного героя, Павла Звєрєва, та його команди, які намагаються розгадати цю заплутану справу. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, це не заважає загальному враженню від читання. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить детективи з глибоким сюжетом та несподіваними розв'язками!
