Книга "Ласкаво просимо до майбутнього" занурює читача у похмурий, але неймовірно захоплюючий світ, де людство стикається з наслідками своїх дій. Автор майстерно описує ситуацію, коли вцілілі люди, позбавлені здатності до дітородіння, намагаються знайти вихід із безвихідної ситуації, створюючи формулу безсмертя. Але що таке безсмертя, якщо свідомість поступово зникає? Ця книга ставить важливі питання про ідентичність, пам'ять і цінність людського життя. Генератори ілюзій, які допомагають героям уникати реальності, стають символом втечі від істини. Особливо цікаво спостерігати за розвитком персонажа-робота, який намагається зрозуміти свою роль у цьому світі. Переклад тексту, хоча й має деякі недоліки, не заважає насолоджуватися цим захоплюючим сюжетом. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить філософські роздуми в поєднанні з науковою фантастикою!
