This edition includes all the poems of Sigismund Dominikovich Krzhizhanovsky (1886–1950), stored in the Russian State Archive of Literature. Despite the imperfection of some works, they are of independent interest to the reader. Almost each contains themes and images later developed in mature prose works. In addition, the material of Krzhizhanovsky’s poetry also reveals his main technique of combining diverse, sometimes far-flung, cultural meanings. Before us are not only the first attempts at movement in literature, but also evidence of the serious spiritual path traveled by the author in the initial, Kiev period of creativity. In addition to the original poems, the book includes poetic translations from Julian Tuwim.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.

Книга "Лицар духу, або Парадокс епігону" є справжнім скарбом для тих, хто цікавиться творчістю Сигізмунда Домініковича Кржижановського. У цьому виданні зібрані всі його вірші, що збереглися в РДАЛІ, і хоча деякі з них можуть здаватися недосконалими, вони все ж представляють собою важливу частину літературної спадщини. Читачі можуть спостерігати, як теми і образи, закладені в цих ранніх творах, пізніше розвинулися в його прозових творах. Особливо вражає прийом поєднання різноманітних смислів культури, який Кржижановський використовує у своїй поезії. Це не просто збірка віршів, а свідчення глибокого духовного шляху автора, що проходив у київський період своєї творчості. Окрім оригінальних творів, в книзі представлені також віршовані переклади з Юліана Тувіма, що додає ще більше цінності цьому виданню. Хоча технологія штучного інтелекту, яка використовувалася для перекладу, іноді призводить до некоректних фраз, загалом текст читається легко і зрозуміло. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче поглибити своє розуміння української літератури та насолодитися поетичними шедеврами!
