“The Countess de Charny” is a historical adventure novel by the French writer Alexandre Dumas, written in 1853–1855. It is part of the Doctor's Notes series and a continuation of the novels Joseph Balsamo, The Queen's Necklace and Ange Pitou. The novel completes the story of Andre de Charny, doctor Gilbert, their illegitimate son Sebastien and the peasant Ange Pitou. Illustrations by E. Ganeshina
