Нагіб Махфуз майстерно переплітає історії трьох світових релігій, показуючи, як вони впливають на життя людей, їхні відносини та моральні вибори. Книга наповнена алегоріями, які відкривають нові горизонти розуміння релігійної історії людства. Незважаючи на те, що текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, в цілому переклад досить якісний, і лише в окремих випадках зустрічаються незначні помилки. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче заглибитися в складні питання віри та людських стосунків, адже вона дійсно варта місця в бібліотеці кожного читача.
