Unlike most authors of books about how to work, I know about work and careers not from seminars, lectures and textbooks. I have made a career and continue to do so. Year after year, day after day, without denying myself pleasures and personal life, I became a professional in my field, a boss, director, author of books, as well as a beloved woman, friend and mother. That’s why it’s funny and sad for me to look at the covers of books for careerists and I don’t understand why you should deprive yourself of something for the sake of a career and divide your personal life and work. The whole secret of a normal life and career is not to share anything and use it at home and at work the same techniques. This is the only way to become successful and happy, to be rich and not be afraid to give, to console yourself with work when your personal life is going down the drain, not to think about how much your husband earns and how to buy waterproof diapers. This is the only way to avoid going crazy from the “charms” of housekeeping and endless TV series; this is the only way to grow up and get smarter, and not just get older. Besides, it’s just more interesting to live this way!
