“Divine Comedy. Hell" is the first part of the masterpiece poem by the great Italian Renaissance poet Dante Alighieri (Italian: Dante Alighieri, 1265 - 1321).*** Lost in a dense forest, Dante meets the poet Virgil and goes with him on a journey through the afterlife. And it begins with the nine circles of Hell, where poets meet all kinds of sinners - deceivers, thieves, rapists, murderers and suicides, heretics, misers, gluttons and others - among whom they recognize many historical figures. They all suffer from different torments depending on their sins, but the most terrible ones are in the last, ninth circle, where the traitors are located... The other two parts of this brilliant work are “Purgatory” and “Paradise”. Dante Alighieri is deservedly called the “father of Italian literature.” This edition contains a unique, rare translation by Dmitry Min, completed in 1855.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
