Ця книга - справжня знахідка для всіх, хто цікавиться історією та культурою стародавнього Риму. Автор майстерно переносить читача в атмосферу Риму часів розквіту імперії, демонструючи, як повсякденне життя його жителів мало багато спільного з сучасністю. Я був вражений деталізацією описів: від шумних вулиць до розкішних терм, від судових слухань до званих вечерь. Книга не лише інформативна, але й надзвичайно цікава, адже автор вміло поєднує факти з емоціями, що дозволяє читачеві відчути себе частиною тієї епохи. Хоча іноді зустрічаються незначні помилки в перекладі, це не зменшує загального враження від читання. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче дізнатися більше про життя в стародавньому Римі та насолодитися захоплюючою подорожжю в минуле!
