Up the Orinoco, a novel by French writer Mathias Henard (b. 1972), was published in 2005. This is a poignant story of the relationship between two men and one woman working in a large Parisian clinic. There is a mutual attraction between them, but the pain inflicted on each other constantly pushes them to escape.
