Я дізнався багато нового про звичаї, які вважаються звичними для англійців, але які, насправді, можуть бути досить дивними для іноземців. Наприклад, я ніколи не замислювався про значення «часу піммсу» або про те, чому англійці так люблять свої пабі. Книга написана легкою та зрозумілою мовою, що робить її доступною для широкого кола читачів. Єдине, що трохи засмучує - це незначні помилки в перекладі, але вони не псують загального враження.
