French writer Georges Blon (1906–1989), author of the popular series of books about sea voyages and discoveries “The Great Secrets of the Oceans” (“The Great Hour of the Oceans”), has long become a cult figure for anyone interested in the history of piracy. One of the most striking pages of this story is the story of the Pirates of the Caribbean, the legendary filibusters.
