2000s. Syria. In the southern border region, near the city of Dar, mass demonstrations are taking place against the government of Bashar al-Assad. The main character, American Jean Rogers, secretly crosses the border from Israeli territory, from the Golan Heights, and ends up in Dar under the name of a Russian woman who once married a Syrian. Jean's task is to find a secret base to which, according to Israeli intelligence, former KGB general and highly influential politician Leonid Loginov took the components of weapons of mass destruction of Saddam Hussein's regime before the American invasion of Iraq. Presumably the base is located near the city of Dar. But unexpectedly, while completing the task, Jin faces a serious choice that almost derails the entire operation...
