Книга "Поганий ген" вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Головна героїня, Ар'я Ніколс, є дуже складним і багатогранним персонажем, який проходить через внутрішні конфлікти та трансформацію під час своєї роботи в Бюро судово-медичної експертизи. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу напруженості та загадковості, коли Ар'я стикається з таємницями, які залишилися після смерті молодої жінки. Книга змушує задуматися про етичні питання, пов'язані з медициною, і про те, як важливо чути голоси тих, хто вже не може говорити. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від читання. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить детективи з елементами психології та медичної драми!
