Книга "Мутант" відкриває перед читачем теми, які можуть викликати глибокі роздуми про моральність наукових експериментів та наслідки генної інженерії. Віктор Френк-молодший, як персонаж, викликає змішані почуття: з одного боку, його феноменальні здібності вражають, а з іншого - його вибір шляху, який веде до небезпечних експериментів і злочинної діяльності, змушує задуматися про наслідки таких дій. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи трилера та наукової фантастики, створюючи напружену атмосферу, яка тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча переклад має деякі недоліки, які можуть відволікати від читання, загальна якість тексту та глибина сюжету компенсують це. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться етикою науки та наслідками технологічного прогресу!
