“The Bronnikov Case” is an investigative book. It was formed from a five-volume investigative file from 1932. Among the accused is translator M.L. Lozinsky, linguist N.N. Shulgovsky, film critic N.N. Efimov, artist V.A. Vlasov. But the names of others mean nothing to anyone today. Their works, articles, poems, notes, letters, even addresses disappeared. And these people were very talented: A.V. Reisler, P.P. Azbelev, A.A. Kryukov, M.N. Remezov, M.D. Bronnikov... are Leningrad writers and art historians. The authors collected information bit by bit in official and private archives and tried to see the living people behind the found materials of this forgotten case.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
