Lydia Libedinskaya (1921–2006) - prose writer, literary critic; nee Tolstaya, daughter of the poetess Tatyana Vechorka, author of the book of memoirs “The Green Lamp”. All her life Lydia Libedinskaya attracted extraordinary people, the color of our culture gathered at the table of her hospitable home: Korney Chukovsky, Viktor Dragunsky, David Samoilov, Semyon Lipkin, Bulat Okudzhava, Kaverins , Zabolotskys... The homemade white tablecloth, behind which table conversations took place, became her Chukokkala. Writers, painters, performers and museum workers left autographs, poems, dedications, drawings on it. This book turned out to be as colorful and varied as a festive table. Voices are heard in it, glasses clink, toasts are proclaimed, messages are read, sad and funny incidents are remembered. Her pages gathered those whom she loved so much - her family and friends.
