This book is dedicated to the army of one of Nazi Germany's allies in the Axis bloc - fascist Italy. From 1941 to 1943, royal troops fought in two widely separated theaters of war: the Soviet Union and North Africa. And if in the first case the Italians’ campaign in Russia looked more like an unhappy comedy, then in the battle for the capture of Tunisia the royal army showed itself to be a courageous and persistent opponent. And yet, the drama in North Africa ended with the victory of the troops of the Anti-Hitler Coalition; the fascist regime, which existed in Italy for two decades, began to lose authority among the Italian masses.
