The Dalai Lama's story is a bridge between the past and the future: he shares his childhood memories as naturally as stories from his past lives, referring to his thirteen predecessors and reflecting on his successor. He often talks about his role as the spiritual leader of Tibet, the need to speak on behalf of his people, and comments on how his activities are perceived by the world community. The uniqueness of this spiritual biography is that it is built around his three main life missions: as a person, he confirms the importance of cultivating spiritual qualities for the common good; like a Buddhist monk, he calls for dialogue with other religions, with non-believers, with scientists; like the Dalai Lama - he pursues a policy of kindness and appeals to the conscience of the world. The compiler of the book, Sophia Streel-Revere, has been collecting the speeches of the Dalai Lama for more than fifteen years. The film “Dalai Lama: Life After Life” was filmed based on her script. In January 2009, the Dalai Lama personally approved the work of Ms. Streel-Revere in publishing her speeches.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
